QUISH package
These are examples to help you estimate the cost of your project. They do not form part of any contract between us. We will be pleased to quote for your project, and we will then be bound by our quotation. See also our terms of business.
The project fee for the QUISH package depends on the size of the project:
- the size of the instrument, measured in keystrokes,
- the number of responses and
- the number of subsets for which you need outputs.
If you can predict these three variables, we will be pleased to give a quotation by email, 'phone or post.
The following examples of fees may be helpful. The fees quoted include one standard report of your choice for each subset. Reports can be provided on paper or as bookmarked Adobe® Acrobat® .pdf files sent by email or on a on a CD-ROM together with the Acrobat® Reader (for Windows). What is included?
The only extras will be the cost of any business reply envelopes we supply (£30 / 1,000) and the return postage at the normal rate plus 0.5 p per item, which the Royal Mail charge, plus 10% surcharge which we add to cover the annual cost of the service and responses which keep trickling in, sometimes for months after the survey is closed and reported. The table shows an estimate of these expenses.

Questionnaire development

Translation into Foreign Languages.
Extra; between £120 and £200 per 1,000 words depending on the language. More design and typesetting time may be needed for scripts other than Western European. Please ask for a quotation.
Validation
Extra on a time used basis, typically from £1,000 to £5,000.

Questionnaire Printing
Extra. 1,000 questionnaire booklets with 4 A4 pages printed two colours on 100gsm paper cost about £250. We can fit up to 100 items and some classifications into this much space, and this is about as big as any questionnaire probably ought to be.

Mailing
Extra. 1,000 items comprising one A4 sheet with a reply envelope folded, stuffed, labeled, franked and mailed for about £500 plus postage and any stationery we supply.

Benchmarking
£500 per benchmarking report, including definition of norms parallels in your survey, extraction of norms data to match your preferred specification, production and supply of report.

Reports delivery
You may choose to have your QUANTIFY reports delivered printed on paper or as Adobe® Acrobat® .pdf files delivered by email or on a CD-ROM. There is no extra fee for choosing .pdf files in place of paper reports.
If you choose to have reports in both formats, there will be a small addition to the bill.

Free text analysis
Not included in QUISH, but offered as an extra on a time used basis.
The volume of comment the questions provoke can vary enormously but as a rough guide, allow about £300 per 1,000 responses for each specific free text response you include.
By specific, we mean a question like Do you have any comments on the company's van fleet livery? or on the end of a list of possible occupations, Other, please write in. For a general comments area, say at the end of the questionnaire, with an invitation such as Please use the space below to add any further comments. allow about four times as much.
These are very rough figures, though, and we can give a better estimate when we have seen the questionnaire, and discussed the target group with you.
