The Institute of Consulting (formerly Institute of
Business Consulting) is the professional body for all consultants and
business advisers. Designed to raise standards of professional practice
in support of better business performance, the Institute provides a
development path for the profession, supported by high
quality resources and a recognised qualification route.
The site offers helpful information for consultants and clients,
including the Institute's Code of Professional Conduct, which
QUANTIFY observes, and advice on choosing a consultant.

Institute of Personnel & Development
With over 105,000 members it is the professional body for those involved
in the management and development of people. Membership of the CIPD
demonstrates a commitment to high standards of professionalism and
to continuing professional development.
Anyone can log in to the site but some services are restricted to members of
the Institute.
Independent Consultants' Forum
A group of independent business consultants, all CIPD qualified and
with an HR emphasis but offering a very wide range of services. The
group is based in South-West London, but members provide services over a
wide area of the UK and beyond.

this neat and useful site is operated by Ian R Congreave FCIPD MIPPM,
a freelance writer and lecturer on payroll and personnel legislation,
systems and services.
Society for Human Resource Management
The US counterpart of CIPD.
Hrmaster HR Guide
A USA based directory with no access restrictions but heavy US bias
in the lists of suppliers shown. Even so, can be a useful source of
quick reference material.
